Job Opportunity
This is a permanent full-time position commencing in 2026. The minimum starting remuneration for this role (salary plus loading) is $119,077 per annum increasing each year of successful service to $130,141.
We are seeking a highly motivated and committed leader to oversee the boarding community at Geraldton Residential College. We provide a safe, secure, caring and supportive environment where students can have privacy and room to grow.
Our college is located near the Geraldton city centre, with space for up to 119 boarding students. All students have their own room with boys and girls accommodated in separate wings.
The Role
As a leader, you will ensure that college operations meet the needs of our students and are consistent with Department of Education policies, procedures and guidelines.
You will be responsible for the line management of supervisory, administration and ancillary staff. In addition, you will undertake financial planning, budget preparation and oversee college accounting procedures.
You will also ensure that human resource management is in accordance with Department and Government requirements and the needs of students, including staff recruitment and selection; performance management; allocation of duties; restructuring; equal employment opportunity; occupational health, safety and welfare; termination; discipline; code of conduct; industrial negotiations; duty of care and conditions of work.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the boarding community at Geraldton Residential College

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights
* Obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
* Hold a current Working with Children Check
* Be able to work according to rostered hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays
