Industrial Technologies Teacher – Years 7‐12
Tagai State College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Industrial Technologies Teacher for its Thursday Island Secondary Campus, covering Years 7‐12 and focused on workshop‐based industrial technology curriculum. The position is temporary, starting ASAP and ending 4 December 2026.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess industrial technology lessons over Years 7‐12.
* Provide workshop‐based instruction and hands‐on learning experiences.
* Support additional teaching and relief requirements as needed, particularly if holding a background in Science, Health or Physical Education.
Qualifications
* Relevant teaching qualification.
* Full or provisional QCT registration.
* Australian working rights or valid visa.
* Pre‐service and graduate teachers encouraged to apply (including practicum reports, mentor statements & unofficial transcript).
