The Role

Assuming all the duties and responsibilities of a Dangerous Goods Officer as provided in the Dangerous Goods Safety legislation.

Addressing community concerns about dangerous goods through effective risk communication.

Administering the relevant dangerous goods legislation.

Enforcing the dangerous goods legislation to achieve high safety levels.

Informing and motivating industry to achieve high levels of safety in the transport, storage, manufacture, use and handling of dangerous goods.

Qualifications & Licenses

A bachelor's degree in science or engineering with an appropriate discipline.

Current Western Australian C or C-A class driver's license or equivalent.
