Job Title: Heavy Diesel
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team.
This role involves carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, plant, and mobile equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine technology and experience working with drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
* Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and associated systems.
* Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of vehicles and equipment.
* Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current driver's license and mechanical trade qualification.
* At least 2 years' experience in a repair and maintenance role.
* Solid knowledge of diesel engines, emissions, drivetrain, brakes, and suspension.
