Manager - Civil Infrastructure Delivery | PSC659 – Bendigo Advertiser
A great lifestyle in a treasured environment, this is life at PSC The opportunity is with Port Stephens Council in the Civil Infrastructure Delivery Unit. This is a permanent, full-time role with 35 hours per week and flexible working arrangements.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating the development, planning, project management, surveying, designing and delivery of Council's civil infrastructure capital works program in accordance with planning legislation, accepted industry standards, specifications and other client and customer requirements.
* Development of major projects with clients and their external customers and stakeholders to a variety of site, planning and financial constraints.
* Leadership, supervision, mentoring and coaching of the Civil Projects Unit, comprising of 3 teams of approximately 25 staff.
* Manage the civil infrastructure capital works budget, including reporting, improvement and corrective actions. This is to be done with independence and in alignment with the Capital Works Section Manager.
Qualifications
* A degree qualification in Engineering, Construction, Survey, Design, or a related field with significant industry experience.
* Proven employee leadership and communication skills.

* Hours: 35 hours per week
* Base Salary Range: $117,660 to $138,428 pa based on 35 hours / week
* Superannuation: 12%
* Allowances: motor vehicle allowance $19,364; retention allowance $2,464; civil liability allowance
