* Hourly salary: HM13 $49.71 to HM16 $68.26
* Location: Mercy Hospital for Women, 163 Studley Rd Heidelberg Victoria 3084
Job Opportunity
* Fixed‐term full time contract (6 or 12 months) commencing February 2027
* Position based at the Mercy Hospital for Women in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department
* Provide care for inpatients, outpatients and Emergency Department patients within the rules pertaining to Registrars/Residents
* Responsible for completion of discharge summaries and coding
* Suitable for PGY3 or above and accredited training for DRANZCOG or CWH
* Employment terms as per the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Hospital Medical Officer Certified Agreement
Qualifications & Experience
* Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* PGY3 or higher clinical experience
* Highly developed and up‐to‐date clinical and theoretical knowledge
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team
Required Evidence
* Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
Additional Note
Positions are not suitable for candidates who have completed the AMQ MCQ only (without AMC Clinical) and do not provide the required rotations for achieving General registration.
