Cabinetry Draftsman / Production Detailer
Toser Design is a 100% family-owned and operated company that have been designing, manufacturing, supplying and installing quality kitchens and cabinetry to some of Australia's most trusted builders and the South Australian community for many years.
Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for a highly experienced Cabinetry Draftsperson to join our tight-knit team. Positions available at either Marleston, Wingfield or Lonsdale.
The ideal candidate will have industry experience as a cabinetmaker, and will be highly organised, motivated and detail-oriented. This is the perfect opportunity to build your career with a leading South Australian joinery company, working with some of Australia's best builders.
About the role
In this role, you will be required to:
* Create presentation and working drawings to a high standard from supplied builder plans, mark ups and written documentation
* Communicate regularly with the drafting, design and production teams to ensure project success
* Communicate with builders and site managers/supervisors when required to ensure correct installation
* Work to supplied quotes, and check them against potential technical challenges
* Ensure timely completion and delivery of drawings
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with builders and site supervisors.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* 3-5 years' experience in a joinery drafting role
* Previous experience as a cabinetmaker
* The ability to read architectural plans and develop accurate working drawings
* A high-level of computer literacy (including Excel)
* The ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
* Impeccable problem-solving skills
Desirable
* A strong understanding of cabinetry hardware materials
* A good general understanding of residential construction building processes
* Experience in drafting with Cabinet Vision, Sketch Up and AutoCad.
