Key Finance and Administration Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative operations of our organisation, ensuring effective management and enhancement of our internal processes.
1. Financial Performance
* Prepare comprehensive annual financial statements for our entities, including transport and livestock divisions.
* Manage statutory filings, including BAS, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax returns.
2. Management Accounting Services
* Develop and review monthly management accounts, providing variance analysis and commentary to inform business decisions.
* Complete journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly schedules to ensure accurate financial records.
* Establish and maintain budgets, forecasting models, and cash flow projections to support strategic planning.
3. Office Operations Management
* Oversee day-to-day office operations to maintain a well-functioning and organised workplace environment.
* Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service providers to ensure smooth office operations.
* Support onboarding logistics, including equipment coordination and induction materials, to facilitate new staff integration.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Accounting or related field.
* Candidate with CA/CPA qualifications preferred but not essential.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in senior accounting or finance roles within project-driven environments, preferably in transport, construction, or related sectors in Australia.
