Senior Lecturer, Indigenous Knowledge – Senior Role
Lead culturally grounded teaching and research; shape curriculum; supervise HDR candidates; build strong community and stakeholder partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise Higher Degree Research candidates to successful completion
* Contribute to a strong, supportive HDR and research training environment
* Design and deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching
* Drive curriculum innovation in Indigenous Knowledge programs
* Contribute to research outputs, publications and funding activity
* Build respectful, collaborative relationships with communities and stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
* A PhD in Indigenous Knowledge or a related discipline
* Proven experience supervising Higher Degree Research candidates
* Evidence of high-quality teaching and curriculum development and leadership
* A strong research track record, including publications and grant success
* The ability to work respectfully and effectively in culturally diverse contexts
Benefits and Remuneration
* Full-time, continuing (permanent) position
* Location: Lismore, NSW 2480; Gold Coast, QLD 4225 or Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450 also considered; relocation assistance available
* ACAD Level C. Base salary ranges from $139,568 - $160,473 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation. Total remuneration package up to $187,753.
