Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Development Executive to support our Ashurst Advance division. This role is central to driving Ashurst's vision of "Outpacing Change" by transforming the delivery of legal services through innovative technology and client solutions.
Responsibilities
* Support Go‑to‑Market Initiatives: Assist in the delivery of business development activities for Ashurst Advance – supporting role in voice of client deliverables and promoting value proposition externally.
* AI & Technology Exposure: Support the integration and promotion of AI tools, automation and data analytics in business development activities.
* Pursuits: Support Ashurst Advance bids, maintain content library for Ashurst Advance products, work with key stakeholders to prepare research and client or market analysis.
* Client Engagement: Support client listening and help identify opportunities to apply Ashurst Advance solutions to client challenges.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in business development (approx. 3–5 years), with a focus on professional services, NewLaw experience highly regarded.
* Experience with or interest in AI tools, automation or data analytics and their application to legal services.
* Excellent project management and problem‑solving abilities.
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related field.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across internal networks and anticipate stakeholder needs.
