Commencing in August we have an opportunity for Security Guards to join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stocklands national portfolio, with multiple positions available to support Burleigh Heads Town Centre, Gold Coast.
Roster flexibility is required, including availability to work a variety of rotating shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.
What You'll Do
* Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security
* Control site access and manage visitors, contractors, and deliveries
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
* Provide general assistance and maintain a visible, approachable presence
* Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues
* Maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and liaise with relevant services when required
What You'll Bring
* Certificate II (mandatory) or Certificate III in Security (desirable)
* Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (mandatory)
* Working with Childrens Check (mandatory)
* Experience monitoring CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
* Ability to respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and concerns
* Strong communication, conflict resolution, and report‐writing skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team, with a good understanding of safety procedures
