Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Systems Officer to support the delivery of technology projects on a 6 month contract. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in business systems analysis and a keen interest in project coordination within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in analysing business system changes and process improvement initiatives.
* Support the documentation and specification of business system requirements.
* Participate in testing activities and provide support for business systems.
* Develop and maintain user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
* Coordinate project activities, meetings, and communications across teams.
* Monitor project timelines, risks, and issues, escalating as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and project reporting.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience analysing business system changes and process improvements.
* Exposure to large, custom-built applications—experience in legal or similar environments is a plus.
* Strong skills in documenting business and technical requirements.
* Experience in system testing and user support.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
* Understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
