About the Role

SeaLink is on the lookout for a skilled and safety-driven Master V Skipper to join our energetic team on a casual basis, operating high-speed jet vessels across the stunning Southern Moreton Bay Islands. This is more than just a job — it's a chance to be part of a respected, community-focused operator that plays a vital role in connecting island communities.

As a Master, you'll be at the helm of modern, fast-paced vessels, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable transport of passengers. You'll work in a supportive and dynamic team environment, surrounded by the natural beauty of South-East Queensland, while delivering exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of maritime safety.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate and navigate jet vessels in accordance with maritime regulations and SeaLink's Safety Management System.
* Lead and support crew to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew on board.
* Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
* Adapt to a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays.

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate experience working within fast-paced, dynamic teams; have exceptional leadership skills, vessel-handling ability, knowledge and compliance of legislation and operating procedures, customer service, and a safety focused approach.

About You

* Demonstrated leadership and vessel-handling skills
* Strong safety focus and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* A professional, customer-first attitude
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster

Qualifications and Experience

* Master V (Certificate of Competency) – essential
* MED 2 qualification – essential
* Jet boat experience – highly regarded
* Current Certificate of Medical Fitness for Near Coastal Seafarers (AMSA Form 1850)
* Senior First Aid and CPR certification
