Responsibilities:
As a Personal Care Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care to residents such as showering, dressing and assisting with daily living activities;
* Supporting residents with day-to-day tasks such as eating, socialising and participating in activities;
* Working collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure that care plans are implemented and followed;
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care;
* Providing a high level of customer service to families and visitors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent);
* A kind heart and genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to older adults;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment;
* Understanding of workplace health and safety principles and practices.
