Overview
We are seeking a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed‐term, full‐time and part‐time vacancies at Katanning Primary School (PS) in the Great Southern Region of WA for the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Role
As a Primary Teacher you will establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment, set high expectations, cultivate a growth mindset, and nurture students' social and emotional development. You will design and deliver engaging literacy and numeracy programmes, differentiate instruction for diverse student needs, and use assessment tools to inform progress and guide future teaching plans.

Mobility Appointments
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school, may elect to undertake a 3‐year mobility appointment at Katanning PS, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‐year mobility appointment, teachers can either return to their substantive role or transfer permanently into this school.
Eligibility
* Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Required to apply for a WA Working with Children Check before commencing work.
