ABOUT THE ROLE
As a casual Future Student Contact Officer, you will play a vital role in connecting with prospective students and supporting them on their journey to study at JCU. You'll use a range of communication methods including phone calls, emails, SMS and chats to engage and guide future students.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Communicate with people of all ages to encourage, motivate and inspire them to commence, continue and complete their studies successfully.
* Support the Domestic Admissions team by delivering lead management and engagement services.
* Contribute to the achievement of JCU's domestic student enrolment targets.
* Act as a key first point of contact for prospective students.
* Provide accurate, timely and culturally appropriate information and advice.
* Deliver high standards of customer service in line with JCU policies and procedures.
* Ensure professional and efficient handling of all student interactions.
* Maintain accurate and compliant records of all engagement activities.
* Uphold data integrity standards to support informed decision‐making.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As a casual employee your employment will be on a casual basis, as required and there is no firm advance commitment to ongoing, regular, or an agreed pattern of work during the engagement. The casual engagement may be terminated by either party, as detailed in Clause 30, Notice Period, of the JCU Enterprise Agreement 2022. Your hours and engagement will be determined by mutual agreement between yourself and your supervisor with a maximum of up to 36.25 hours to be worked per week.
