Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Finley, NSW. As a key member of our facilities management group, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and presentation of multiple sites, including an aged care facility, retirement village, medical centers, and preschool.
Your primary duties will include:
* Leading a small maintenance and grounds team, setting priorities, allocating work, and following up on tasks
* Coordinating external contractors for specialized trades and services
* Completing day-to-day maintenance, including minor repairs, basic plumbing-type jobs, door and lock fixes, simple appliance issues, and general upkeep
* Ensuring lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas are safe, tidy, and presentable
* Managing and updating a practical asset register and keeping an asset management document up to date as equipment changes
* Planning and scheduling preventative maintenance, such as gutter cleaning, roof checks, light fitting replacement, and basic safety checks
* Using basic computer skills to log jobs, update the asset register, and record maintenance activities
* Supporting safety and compliance by carrying out and recording routine checks, such as fire panel and emergency lighting checks
