Our Client

A well-regarded organisation within the marine and industrial services sector is seeking a skilled People and Culture Advisor to join their team. With a solid reputation supporting clients across oil & gas, engineering, and construction, this organisation offers a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to bring their generalist expertise to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Description

Reporting to the HR Manager, the People and Culture Advisor will support a range of day-to-day and strategic people initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing practical and timely advice on a broad range of employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) matters
* Managing HR processes across the full employee lifecycle onboarding, induction, employee movements, and offboarding
* Maintaining and updating HR records, employee files, and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
* Supporting domestic and international recruitment activities, including attraction, selection, and onboarding
* Preparing contracts, processing variations, and assisting with documentation

Profile

The successful candidate will be a confident HR generalist who can balance operational support with sound HR advisory. Ideally, you will bring:

* Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist role
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, ER/IR, and recruitment practices
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively within a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Humanforce) and Microsoft Office
