Job Overview
We're looking for a part‐time or casual Steward who takes pride in their work. Stewards support chefs by maintaining clean, organised kitchens and upholding exceptional standards.
Responsibilities
* Clean and sterilise countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment.
* Maintain food storage areas such as freezers and refrigerators.
* Receive and organise deliveries to the kitchen.
* Support chefs and kitchen staff in basic food preparation (cutting, peeling, washing).
* Remove kitchen waste and wash dirty dishes.
* Work various shifts, including morning shifts as early as 6:00 am and night shifts finishing at 1:00 am.
Qualifications
* Availability to work across different days and times.
* Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Attendant or Prep Chef helpful but not required.
* Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and meeting deadlines helpful but not required.
* Willingness to learn new skills and collaborate with a wider hotel team.
* Full Australian Working Rights.
