About this role
Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse – Recovery / PACU to join our Operating Theatre. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards.
* Support and liaise with the Perioperative Services Manager, Nurse Unit Manager, staff and VMO anaesthetist.
* Understand legislative requirements, ACORN, and sterilisation standards.
* Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality/Risk Management.
* Maintain current registration with AHPRA.
* Have previous experience in a Clinical Nurse / Recovery / PACU role, or be practising as an anaesthetic nurse for more than 3–4 years in a team leader role.
* Have completed a relevant postgraduate qualification or commit to commence within 12 months of appointment.
* Commitment to quality patient care.
* Compliance with NSQHC national standards.
* Sound clinical decision‐making and problem‐solving skills.
* Experience in a similar position (desired).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Highly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasks.

Remuneration
Salary based on years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement: $41.49 – $66.23 per hour.
