We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join a dynamic State Government organisation committed to delivering exceptional services.
In this pivotal role, you will partner with business leaders to attract, engage, and secure high-calibre talent across a diverse portfolio. You will provide strategic recruitment advice, lead end-to-end talent acquisition activities, and contribute to workforce planning initiatives that support organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
* Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across a broad range of roles and business units.
* Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
* Provide expert advice on recruitment best practice, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, and employment legislation.
* Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future workforce requirements.
* Utilise recruitment data and market insights to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support employer branding and attraction strategies to strengthen the organisation's reputation as an employer of choice.
* Ensure recruitment activities align with government policies, procedures, and merit-based selection principles.
About You
* Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or workforce planning within a complex organisational environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
* Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
* Sound understanding of contemporary recruitment practices, sourcing methodologies, and candidate attraction strategies.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and consultation skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
* Experience working within government and public sector.
