Psychologist - Senior (Mental Health - Continuing Care Team)

Remuneration: $128,169 - $137,918 per annum
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Mental Health - Continuing Care Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13000-strong team is on providing world-class healthcare to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
* Contribute to the development of clinical practice procedures and protocols, for both the discipline and the multi-disciplinary team, that support the continuum of care for Continuing Care Team
* Provide supervision, training and support in a specialist area to staff, and provide training and supervision to students as delegated by the Professional Discipline Director
* Apply independent professional judgement, based on valid and reliable evidence, and apply relevant legislation, guidelines and standards, to a complex caseload
* Develop, implement and evaluate quality improvement activities within Continuing Care Team in professional and mental health practice to continually improve care for patients
About You
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Tertiary degree in Psychology
* AHPRA Registration
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated again and remain vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Driver Licence
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

The Continuing Care Team (CCT) is an expert mental health service that seeks to deliver care and support that respects the individual's rights, preserves their dignity, and promotes recovery and inclusion. The CCT aims to provide a service that acknowledges an individual's strengths and abilities, and is welcoming, accessible, responsive, collaborative and safe.
The CCT operates Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 05:00 pm, across a variety of settings within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
