Join Mercy Health as an Assistant in Nursing/ Care Service Worker at Mercy Care Centre, Young, NSW. This is a casual role providing personal care, health monitoring, domestic assistance, transport, and reablement care to community rehabilitation clients in the Transitional Aged Care Team.
Employment Type: Casual
Hours: Weekday and weekend shifts – 4 to 8 hrs long
Salary: NSW Health Assistant in Nursing award wage or Care Service Worker award wage (depending on qualification)
Location: Mercy Care Centre, Young, NSW

Responsibilities:
* Provide care and support to Transitional Aged Care Program clients in their own homes and in the community.
* Assist clients with personal care, health monitoring, socialisation, transport, shopping, and domestic duties.
* Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient‑centred care and rehabilitation services.
* Provide casual cover to areas of the Mercy Care Centre hospital, including inpatient services in Young, NSW.
* Professional development supported with supervision provided.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Cert 3 Health Services Assistant OR minimum Cert 3 aged care / individual support / disability support.
* Willing to work towards Cert 3 Health Services Assistant (AIN qualification).
* Experience in a community setting or healthcare setting is desirable.
* Ability to learn multiple computer programmes and complete administrative tasks.
* Current Unrestricted Driver's Licence.
* A current National Police Record Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
