Island Safety and Security Role
This full-time position involves ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and assets on Hamilton Island.
* Patrols will be conducted across resort, marina, and staff facilities to maintain a safe environment.

The successful candidate will report to the Aviation Security & Compliance Manager. Key responsibilities include:
* Responding promptly and professionally to incidents island-wide.
* Assisting with crowd control during busy periods and supporting departmental managers.
* Managing traffic issues, including accidents, breakdowns, and issuing infringements.
* Responding to alarm activations, staff lockouts, lost/found property reports, and medical assistance requests.
* Performing drug and alcohol testing in accordance with HIE policy.
* Providing first responder services in emergency situations.
* Maintaining records of on-call personnel and addressing after-hours concerns.
* Supporting administrative tasks and communication logs.
* Managing aviation security access and maintaining eligibility for an ASIC.
* Ensuring compliance with all WHS policies and procedures.
