Job Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for:
* Analyse and manage product costing to ensure accurate financial data.
* Prepare and present detailed cost reports to support business strategies.
* Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify cost‐saving opportunities.
* Monitor and evaluate inventory costing for accuracy and compliance.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes, particularly in relation to costings.
* Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
* Assist in month‐end and year‐end closing processes.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
The Successful Applicant
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in cost accounting within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* A solid understanding of inventory management and cost control processes.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
* CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is highly regarded.
