Overview
Lecturer role to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, new and innovative ways to a diverse range of clients. Involves consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients. The TAFE environment offers industry-based Training Packages and a quality system that provides a framework for delivery and assessment.
Responsibilities
• Teach, facilitate learning and assess in accordance with approved delivery practices.
• Contribute to consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients.
• Engage with the quality framework to support delivery and assessment.
• Participate in maintaining and enhancing teaching resources and curricula aligned with Training Packages.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent).
* At least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position.
* Ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
Minimum qualifications for VET delivery as defined by the Registration Standards 2025 (or successors):
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110), or
* A secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019, or TAESS00024).
Applicants who do not hold the minimum VET credentials may apply and will be enrolled to commence training in an approved credential with progress tracked to complete within two years from commencement.
