About the Role
We are launching a global online casino and sportsbook platform and are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead the end-to-end build, launch, and ongoing operation of the business. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for commercial performance, compliance, product development, marketing, trading, risk, and operational execution across multiple international markets.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in online gambling, strong operational discipline, and the ability to scale a high-growth, high-compliance digital business.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & Growth
* Develop and execute the global go-to-market strategy for casino and sportsbook.
* Lead market entry planning, licensing pathways, and regulatory approvals across jurisdictions.
* Build multi-year commercial plans focused on acquisition, retention, ARPU growth, and profitability.
* Identify new markets, partnership opportunities, and competitive advantages.
2. P&L Ownership
* Full responsibility for commercial performance, budget management, forecasting, and reporting.
* Drive revenue growth through product optimisation, marketing efficiency, and strong customer economics.
* Set KPIs across acquisition, retention, product performance, and operational efficiency.
3. Compliance & Licensing
* Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations across jurisdictions.
* Manage relationships with gaming regulators, auditors, legal advisors, and payment providers.
* Oversee responsible gambling frameworks, AML/CTF controls, and fraud-prevention systems.
4. Product & Technology Oversight
* Oversee platform selection, integration of casino and sportsbook suppliers, game providers, and payment systems.
* Lead product roadmap planning, feature prioritisation, UX, and optimisation of customer journeys.
* Work closely with technology partners to ensure stability, speed, security, and scalability.
5. Marketing & Player Acquisition
* Build and manage the global marketing strategy—including affiliates, SEO, paid media, influencers, and partnerships.
* Develop retention programs including VIP, loyalty, CRM automation, and lifecycle marketing.
* Ensure strong brand positioning and competitive differentiation.
6. Operations & Risk
* Build and manage trading/risk teams across sportsbook operations.
* Oversee customer support, payments, KYC/verification, fraud, and dispute resolution.
* Implement robust internal controls and operational processes.
7. Leadership & Culture
* Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performance team across trading, operations, marketing, and compliance.
* Establish a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 7–10 years senior leadership experience in online gambling (casino, sportsbook, or both).
* Deep understanding of global gaming regulations, licensing requirements, and compliance.
* Proven track record in scaling digital gambling brands or operating a regulated gaming business.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing multi-market P&Ls.
* Demonstrated success in acquisition and retention marketing strategies.
* Experience in sportsbook trading, risk management, and casino product optimisation.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
* Ability to operate in fast-moving, high-compliance, high-growth environments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
