About The Role
We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to play a critical role in supporting operations across the organisation's manufacturing and kinetic-focused environments. This is a hands-on, operationally aligned role, suited to an experienced HR generalist who thrives in fast-paced, industrial settings while also contributing to national projects and strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle – from workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management, through to leadership development and cultural initiatives. As a trusted partner to senior leaders, you will help build capability, improve processes, and deliver best-practice HR support that drives long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with senior and operational leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
* Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations and performance issues.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements.
* Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational design.
* Lead and deliver HR programs and initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
* Use HR metrics and data to influence business decisions and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to national HR projects and change initiatives.
* Drive employee engagement, retention, and capability development within manufacturing and kinetic teams.
About You
You are a confident and capable HR professional with strong experience in manufacturing, kinetic, or industrial environments. You thrive in operationally focused HR, balancing the ability to handle day-to-day employee matters with contributing to broader strategic initiatives.
* Proven experience in a senior HR generalist or business partnering role within the resources, OEM, or industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, and industrial agreements.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing complex employee relations cases.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
* Strong initiative, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Analytical skills and confidence using HR metrics to drive decision-making.
* Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline (preferred).
Why this role?
* Competitive salary package + yearly bonus.
* Flexible work arrangements (9-day fortnight or 2 days WFH).
* Paid parental leave (12 weeks, including for non-primary carers).
* Company-paid income protection and above-NES long service leave entitlements.
* Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.
* Exposure to high-profile industry events (AusIMM, WIMWA).
* Free on-site parking and a collaborative, supportive team culture.
