Responsibilities
* Build and maintain effective relationships across government and the Department to support collaborative outcomes.
* Lead annual reviews of tariffs/levies/fees/charges; prepare ministerial briefs/certifications and ensure compliance with legislation and Treasury requirements.
* Support State budget processes through budgets and forecasts, including Budget Statements, Estimates, Strategic Asset Plans, KPIs and SIMS adjustments.
* Provide strategic financial and economic analysis (modelling, scenario and cost-benefit analysis) to improve cost recovery and inform business cases and pricing decisions.
Qualifications & Licenses
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or membership with an appropriate professional accounting body would be an advantage.
