Service Manager (Experience Preferred)
Bunbury Mazda is seeking a Service Manager for our Bunbury dealership.
We are looking for an outstanding leader to manage our service centre, from guest facing, and mechanical workshop perspective. The role will be responsible for guiding our service team, as follows:
* Overseeing each guest's vehicle service and repair requirements, akin to our daily bookings.
* Monitoring the workshop's daily utilisation, efficiency and productivity targets.
* Providing the team with strategic direction, geared towards achieving the divisional targets and associated profits, whilst retaining our quality standards.
* Developing effective business strategies geared toward driving business growth.
* Being the point of contact for guest complaints, ensuring efficient resolution outcomes.
* Acting as an ambassador of employee wellbeing by ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements.
* Mentoring the service team to foster the highest level of employee engagement, retention and optimal performance via people management.
* Fostering effective team communication and cooperation cross-functionally, to support a high performing company culture.
* Overseeing our parts department.
The preferred applicant would have some experience working as a service manager, strong computer literacy skills, a valid driver's licence and excellent communication skills.
Automotive industry experience is preferred for this role.
A C Class manual driver's licence is required.
Australian permanent residency is required for this position.
