Your Position
Join our dynamic site‑based residential service team as a Fitter/Mechanical Service Technician. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive maintenance on automated systems, covering both electrical and mechanical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues in automated systems, including storage and retrieval cranes, conveyor belts, robotic arms, and AGV forklifts.
- Partner with your team to maximize system availability for our customers, managing general flow control and system operator tasks or working alongside onsite automation specialists.
- Drive enhancements in equipment reliability by continuously refining our onsite processes and methodologies.
- Operate within a culture that prioritizes safety above all else, ensuring a secure working environment.
Work Schedule
- Rotating roster: 4 days on / 4 days off.
- Shift pattern: Two 12‑hour day shifts, followed by two 12‑hour night shifts, then four consecutive days off.
About You
- You have a relevant trade‑based qualification.
- You possess a robust mechanical aptitude.
- You understand industrial controls (e.g., PLCs, VFDs, HMIs).
- You’re familiar with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with computers.
- You have good English written and verbal communication skills.
- You’re physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
- You’re highly motivated and eager to further your skills and studies.
- You’re honest, reliable, and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- You’re a team player with a passion for safety culture.
- You have Permanent Residency or Australian citizenship.
