Responsibilities
Delivering and assessing accredited metal fabrication training programs
Supervising and mentoring inmate work teams in a safe, structured environment
Ensuring compliance with Work Health & Safety requirements and prison security protocols
Managing and auditing tools, equipment, and workshop inventory
Maintaining accurate training, production, and incident records
Encouraging participation in education and vocational programs to support rehabilitation
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Have
Certificate IV in Engineering – Fabrication
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or willingness to obtain within 12 months
Minimum 5 years' metal fabrication experience
Valid Driver's Licence and current Forklift Licence
Understanding of Work Health & Safety requirements in a workshop environment
Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
