Task & Responsibilities
* Operating heavy vehicles safely to transport freight and logistics cargo across local and interstate routes
* Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading goods in accordance with safety procedures
* Conducting routine pre‐start and post‐trip vehicle inspections
* Monitoring vehicle condition and reporting maintenance or repair requirements promptly
* Maintaining accurate delivery records, logbooks, and transport documentation
* Ensuring compliance with road transport laws, fatigue management, dangerous goods requirements, and workplace safety regulations
* Planning delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely freight transportation
* Communicating professionally with dispatch staff, warehouse personnel, and customers
* Checking load distribution and ensuring cargo is properly restrained for safe transportation
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of company vehicles
* Following company operational procedures and transport compliance standards
* Assisting with general transport and logistics duties as required
Qualification & Experience
* Valid HR, HC, or MC heavy vehicle driver licence
* Certificate II or III in Driving Operations is desirable but not mandatory
* Minimum 1–3 years of relevant truck driving experience preferred
* Experience in interstate freight transport, logistics, or dangerous goods transport is highly regarded
* Good understanding of transport compliance, fatigue management, and road safety regulations
* Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules
* Physically fit and capable of handling transport‐related duties where required
* Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards

Salary: $80,000–120,000 per annum
