Overview
Our client, based in Laverton North, are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their busy and dedicated team. This is a full time position working a 12-hour shift, rotating over both days and nights.
Responsibilities
- Preparing raw materials and material flows to the machinery efficiently
- Assisting in troubleshooting
- Escalating any breakdowns promptly to minimise disruptions
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Moving materials to machinery using forklift
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role working on a rotating shift highly regarded
- Machine operation experience essential
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Proven history working within a process environment
- Ability to accurately record manufacturing and quality data
- Forklift and driver’s licence are essential
