Dietitian
to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary allied health team in
Mount Isa
on a
full-time, 6-month contract
.

As part of a diverse and supportive team, you will provide dietetic services in collaboration with a range of specialists.
Unlike private practice, you'll have the freedom to base treatment purely on clinical need, enabling meaningful long-term care and prevention strategies.
Working with a wide range of clients, you'll see the genuine impact of your work as you support rural and remote communities to access high-quality, holistic healthcare.
Skills and Experience
To be considered, you must have (or be in the final year of) a tertiary qualification in Dietetics and be eligible for registration with your Professional Association now or upon graduation.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
Provide high-quality, evidence-based dietetic services across the lifespan.
Manage a broad range of presentations including chronic disease, IBS/IBD, weight management, allergies/intolerances, paediatric growth and neurodiversity, malnutrition.
Deliver health promotion activities.
Navigate funding pathways including NDIS and My Aged Care.
Participate in planning and delivery of outreach community education.
Quality Improvement
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical standards.
Identify service gaps and work with senior staff to develop innovative solutions.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Provide timely, accurate correspondence to referrers including GPs.
Liaise with community organisations to support holistic, integrated care.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team.
