Design & Build are seeking a Site Manager with a carpentry background to join a well regarded residential builder known for delivering exceptional architecturally designed homes. As a Site Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your site and will be reporting to the senior management team in the business. You’ll be managing the on site team, while also staying involved on the tools when needed. If you’re a Leading Hand Carpenter looking to take the next step in your career, this role offers the perfect opportunity to work alongside an experienced Site Manager before stepping up to manage your own site.
Responsibilities
Overseeing all aspects of daily site operations
Coordinating with trades and suppliers
Working alongside the team on carpentry tasks
Ensuring quality, safety, and timelines are met
Representing the company professionally with clients and architects
The ideal candidate
Qualified Carpenter with robust experience in architecturally designed residential builds
Confident managing trades while still happy to be hands‑on
Strong communicator and natural team leader
Down‑to‑earth, proactive, and reliable
