About the Role
As Nursing Director, you’ll lead a high‑performing clinical division with a strong focus on safe, high quality care and workforce excellence. You’ll shape strategy, drive service improvement, build strong partnerships and create a positive team culture. This role offers autonomy, influence and the chance to make a lasting impact across clinical services.
Duties of the role
* Lead strategic and operational direction across the division
* Drive safe, high quality and cost‑effective care
* Build strong, collaborative multidisciplinary teams
* Guide workforce performance, capability and culture
* Strengthen governance, compliance and clinical standards
* Create systems that support continuous improvement
* Partner with internal and external stakeholders
* Mentor and support senior nursing leaders
* Manage resources, budgets and service priorities
* Foster healthy, productive work environments
About You
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Proven leadership in complex healthcare services
* Strong skill in people, resource and change leadership
* Experience lead quality and service improvement
* Sound knowledge of healthcare standards and legislation
