About the role
Neighbourhood Care is seeking experienced male and female Support Workers to join our self‐managing team on the Gold Coast. This permanent part‐time role will see you providing high‐quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting clients with everyday tasks such as personal care, employment, community access and daily living skills
* Accompanying clients to social outings, and community activities and providing emotional support and companionship to ensure our clients' well being
* Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement personalised support plans and manage supports
* Maintaining detailed client records and following all relevant policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
* Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
* Experience in or willingness to learn how to collaborate with your team to manage the support you deliver to clients
