About the Client
Our client, based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, delivers comprehensive pump solutions with exceptional engineering, project management, service, and repair. About You
- Explicit experience in servicing, overhauling, and rebuilding pumps beyond preventative and basic maintenance (shaft packing, seal changes, greasing, leak repair).
- Ability to receive a damaged or overhaul‑needed pump, identify faults and parts needing refurbishment or replacement, describe conditions and reasons for assessment/recommendation, rebuild to OEM condition as close as possible, and verify proper assembly through objective quality evidence.
- Experience with laser alignment, torque values, and hydro‑leak testing.
- Ideally experienced with SPX Flow (Waukesha) pumps, Boerger pumps, and positive displacement pumps (lobe, gear, helical rotor).
You will be required to have:
- Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of a C‑Class driver’s licence.
- Positive communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot.
