Role
WHS Training Advisor, supporting our operational teams by delivering high‐quality training, assessments and WHS compliance across site. A hands‐on role where your work directly lifts safety, capability and performance.
The Role
* Deliver site inductions ensuring all personnel are compliant and competent
* Facilitate VOCs, task‐based assessments and refresher training
* Deliver training and competency‐based assessments across operational roles
* Support WHS compliance including critical risk controls and Principal Mining Hazard awareness
* Engage frontline teams including operators, supervisors and contractors
* Maintain accurate training records and ensure data integrity
* Contribute to safety improvement through feedback, mentoring and WHS leadership
What You Need
Essential Experience
* Operational experience in a gold processing plant
* Experience delivering training & competency assessments in mining
* Experience delivering inductions, VOCs and task‐based assessments
* Strong WHS knowledge including: Work Health and Safety Act (WA), Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations (WA), Principal Mining Hazards & critical risk controls
* Ability to engage frontline personnel across site
Essential Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE (or accepted equivalent)
* C Class Driver's Licence
* National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
* Senior First Aid (desirable)
Desirable Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Process Plant Technology – PMA
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety – BSB
