About this role

Global Accounts Manager – a senior, key role within G4S Security Services. The role focuses on overarching relationship management, contract outcomes, financial performance and organic growth of all major global accounts within the portfolio, including financial, technology and pharmaceutical accounts. This senior autonomous role reports directly to the GM, Security Services.

About the role and team

The Global Accounts Manager will own the portfolio commercially and operationally; revenue, margin, safety, client relationships and growth, supported by a security operations specialist, a business administrator and a new control room. The work spans global time zones (early UK calls, evening US calls), East Coast travel and occasional trips to New Zealand. To focus on strategic outcomes you will be insulated from day‐to‐day issues by a robust support structure.

* Dedicated Security Operations Specialist – managing subcontractor performance, compliance licensing, SOPs, and site audits/inspections.
* Business Administration Specialist – managing client reporting, training compliance logs, and end‐of‐month invoicing/debtor management.
* 24/7 Control Room Operation – handling out‐of‐hours tactical requirements, last‐minute shift coverage, and emergency leave requests.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain active, high‐level relationships with global corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
* Identify and pursue contract growth opportunities and service initiatives (e.g. risk advisory, smart technology, casual guard surge solutions).
* Develop and implement annual operations and account plans that drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure high‐level contract compliance and track overall service delivery KPIs.
* Manage portfolio budgets and financial performance, taking accountability for revenue, margin %, EBITDA, and cash targets.
* Oversee macro risk and issue resolution across multiple client contracts simultaneously.
* Contribute to governance, strategy, and business processes across region and global networks.
* Co‐ache, mentor, and develop direct reports (including dedicated site supervisors and coordinators) to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
* Oversee and maintain an effective safety system that aligns with the G4S OHS Policy and Safety Golden Rules to keep teams safe.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in senior account management or corporate business operations; prior security industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing multi‐million dollar P&Ls and driving business improvement projects.
* Commercial instinct to be a client's first point of contact and frame opportunities without being a pure salesperson.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, acting as primary point of contact for tier‐1 global enterprise clients.
* Strategic thinker focused on results, with a track record of navigating complex internal and external matrix organisations.
* High autonomy and flexibility to adjust working schedule for global time zones (including early morning UK and late afternoon/evening US meetings).
* Self‐motivated starter with strong, resilient nature and willingness to travel across the East Coast and internationally (including New Zealand).
