CASUAL TEACHER - EMPLOYMENT REGISTRATION
The Diocese of Lismore stretches along the coastal strip of Current South Wales from Tweed Heads in the north to Laurieton in the south and west to the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. The Catholic Schools Office provides a range of services to support approximately 3,500 staff in 45 vibrant and agile school communities that serve more than 18,500 students.
Within your application, you will be asked to nominate the role in which you are interested to undertake and schools in the area you are interested in approaching for work. Once your application has been processed by Human Resources by completing checks and verifications, you will be issued a casual contract in preparation to be considered for work in the Diocese of Lismore.
You will be provided with a casual contract, however, a casual contract is no promise of work, ongoing work, or otherwise. It allows you to contact the school / s you have nominated within your application to seek casual work.
All applicants are required to complete a "system application form" which includes :
Uploading Documentation
100 points of identification (as per list here) - certified copies (combined into one document)
degree / diploma / certificates, transcripts if applicable - certified copies (combined into one document)
resume and cover letter (no more than one page) addressing your suitability to the role.
provide your Working with Children Check details
nomination of referees
Teachers
provide evidence of qualifications and experience
provide Statements of Service from previous employers (outside of the Diocese of Lismore) for classification purposes
able to work as a member of a committed team of skilled teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
acknowledge a commitment to the requirements of the diocese Accreditation To Work Teach and Lead document
