Who will I work for?
- headspace Warwick, part of RHealth, offers a fun, vibrant workplace and is part of a proven intervention that leverages evidence-based therapies and takes a stepped approach to care. You will be the first point of contact for young people and their families entering the service. This role is all about creating an excellent rapport, identifying the support the young person needs and collating the initial information. You will be a broad role that covers intake assessment, brief psychoeducation sessions, care coordination and assistance to the Clinicians.
- What will my role include?
Reporting to the Centre Manager, your role will include:
Assisting young people to access services and providing coordination of care to meet individual needs; Developing a clear understanding of your clients through case formulation and assessment; Collaborating with the team to implement access to information and a range of culturally-sensitive activities; Conducting structured/ unstructured intake assessments and initial risk assessments; Coordinating services with other allied health services in the region; Participating in community events and advocacy that build the profile and accessibility of the centre; and most importantly Making a significant impact on the mental
health and wellbeing of young people in your region! Who are we looking for?
This role is suited to someone who is ready to be at the centre of health care support for young people. You may have a mix of qualifications and experience from any allied health background and ideally have some background in providing mental health supports and/or working with young people.
