Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Street Sweeper to join our team. As a Street Sweeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the streetscape in designated areas across the region.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a motorised street sweeper and other related equipment to deliver excellent street cleaning services in a timely and efficient manner. This includes safely sweeping streets, gutters, and responding to reports of large debris or hazardous spills.
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a motorised street sweeper and other cleansing maintenance equipment as required
* Clean streets, gutters, and respond to reports of large debris or hazardous spills
* Attend traffic accident sites to clear debris and assist with hazardous material clean-up
* Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to ensure safe and reliable operations
* Report any damage or hazards on council property, such as street signs, curbs, or road surfaces
Requirements:
* A Class HR Driver's Licence
* Construction Safety Induction (White card)
* Ability to work flexible hours and travel across the region
