Position Details
We're looking for skilled Mechanical or Electrical Fittes to join our Compliance Officer team.
This is a hands‐on, trade‐based role where no two days are the same.
Working across depots and substations throughout Tasmania, you'll inspect, test, repair and maintain a wide range of safety equipment, lifting gear, climbing equipment and operational tools used by our field crews every day.
As part of our Works Delivery team, you'll play an important role in ensuring equipment is compliant, tagged, fit for purpose and ready to support safe work across the network.
Based in either Cambridge or Rocherlea (with some statewide travel required), this is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, variety and being part of a capable, supportive team that helps keep our people safe and our network running.
About You
You're a practical team player who communicates well, takes pride in quality work and puts safety first.
You're adaptable, proactive and enjoy working in a role that supports crews across the network.
Ideally, You'll Bring
* Certificate III in ESI – Mechanical or Electrical Fitter
* Tasmanian Practitioner's Licence (or ability to obtain)
* High‐Risk Work Licences including Dog‐ging, Vehicle Loading Crane or EWP (or willingness to obtain)
* Current driver's licence, White Card and First Aid (MR licence desirable)
