Wastewater Technical Trainer
Job Description
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality technical training on wastewater processes, pumping stations, treatment systems and health & safety practices.
* Deliver technical training sessions to various audiences using a range of methods including classroom instruction, practical demonstrations and e-learning modules.
* Develop and update training materials ensuring content is accurate, engaging and aligned with current standards.
* Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to learners.
* Support the implementation of competency frameworks and progression schemes.
* Maintain accurate training records and ensure completion of mandatory courses.
* Report training outcomes and learner progress to the relevant manager.
* Collaborate with colleagues to gather feedback from participants and suggest improvements to training delivery and content.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Technical knowledge of wastewater systems, environmental management or operational/production processes.
* Experience delivering technical or safety training within industrial, defence or educational environments.
* Familiarity with ISO quality management systems.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and environments.
* Proficient in developing professional working relationships and liaising with people at all levels.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Capacity to identify and implement best practice.
