About the Position

Position Location: Port Pirie
Position Status: Part Time FTE 0.6
Closing Date for Applications: 07th June 2026

The Microfinance Program aims to deliver a quality service that enables people on low income to access no interest loans. As the Microfinance Officer you will perform a broad range of administrative tasks to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to loan applicants, suppliers and stakeholders. You will ensure all quality assurance and compliance measures are met as required by Uniting Country SA. This is an ideal opportunity if you are currently unemployed and/or returning from a career break.

Responsibilities

* Provide regular No Interest Loans appointments for applicants.
* Manage key administrative tasks that support high-quality service delivery.
* Ensure all quality assurance and compliance requirements are met in line with Uniting Country SA standards.
* Promote UCSA's Microfinance products.
* Have a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Qualifications

* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Relevant experience in a paid or voluntary capacity.

Desirable Qualifications

* A Certificate IV or above in a Human Services related discipline.
