EOI for Temp Project Officer within the State Government

This is an expression of interest for experienced professionals to join our pool of Project Officers and Project Support Officers for the upcoming year. These roles will contribute to a variety of health-related projects, supporting both corporate and clinical environments.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with state government health and/or project management experience who thrive in agile, deadline-driven settings.
Your new role
- Assist with planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities
- Track milestones, timelines, and deliverables
- Maintain project registers (risks, issues, actions, changes)
- Manage calendars and coordinate meetings
- Set up meeting rooms and Microsoft Teams sessions
- Prepare agendas, minutes, briefing papers, and reports
- Ensure accurate document control and version management
- Liaise with corporate and clinical staff at all levels
- Support workshops, consultations, and stakeholder forums
- Provide clear communication and follow‑up on project actions
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage competing priorities in high‑pressure environments
- Demonstrate initiative and problem‑solving skills
What you'll need to succeed
- Project or health sector experience within government (preferably both)
- Impeccable time management and organisational skills
- Well‑developed administrative capability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders
- A proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork
