The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Building Designer to become a valued member of our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects across Tasmania while continuing to grow and develop in a supportive environment. What We're Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who brings experience, initiative, and a willingness to learn. You will work closely with our senior designers and consultants, contributing to the successful delivery of a wide range of architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed design documentation for residential and commercial projects
* Collaborate with consultants, clients, and internal team members
* Support senior designers on various design and documentation tasks
* Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and processes
* Adhere to company procedures and project workflows
Qualifications & Skills
* 2 years' experience in a similar role is desirable
* Relevant qualification such as:
* Bachelor of Environmental Design
* Bachelor of Architecture & Built Environments
* Diploma of Building Design
* Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable
* Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Willing to learn management and organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Willing to work with systems and procedures
