What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our shutdown team, your responsibilities will include:
* Complete all required safety documentation before commencing works including G2G, JHA/SWP/SWMS and permit to work.
Follow and enforce safety rules and procedures including wearing the protective PPE required for performing the works safely.
* Conduct machine pre starts and checks on the equipment and scaffolding gears to ensure they are safe to use.
* Assess the type of scaffold required and plan the layout according to work requirements.
* Erect, dismantle and modify scaffolds according to applicable standards and rules.
* · Ensure scaffolding platforms are stable, safe and secure.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on scaffolds and update scaffolding tags and register.
* Maintain good housekeeping in the scaffold materials storage yard.
* Perform alternative tasks other than scaffolding works as directed by the responsible supervisor and Stand in Supervisor.
What You Bring
* A strong commitment to safety
* Minimum 2 years of continuous Scaffolding experience (mining or similar industry)
* Scaffolding High-Risk License (SI or SA) – Intermediate or Advanced
* White Card
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Unrestricted Australian work rights
Additional Site Requirements:
- Working at Heights Ticket - (must be valid within 2 years):
- Confined Space Ticket - (must be valid within 2 years):
- Mask Fit Test - Karara is a clean shaven Mine Site
